We are seeking a Business Manager (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an office manager.

The position is a part-time/seasonal 1099 job. In our busy season, June – October, we organize the annual Race for Recovery fundraiser; the job requires approximately 25 hours/week. In the off-season, November – May, the job requires approx. 10-15 hours/week.

Hourly pay is based on qualifications and experience. 

Responsibilities: Assist with the monthly operations of the organization through general office support, financial management, donor database management and annual fundraising event support for Race for Recovery.

Accounting: 

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and track expenses.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee on financial matters.
  • Coordinate  Donor Perfect Database 

Database Management

  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive donor database, including contact information, contributions, and donor history.
  • Prepare and send acknowledgments for donations received.
  • Assist with donor communications.

Annual Race for Recovery Fundraiser 

  • Work with the Race for Recovery Committee on all aspects of the annual fundraiser.
  • Maintain RunSignUp Database Including sponsors and participants. 

Board Communications

  • Support the Treasurer in preparing financial documents for board meetings.
  • Support the Secretary on the Board of Directors with record keeping and communication.

Communications

  • Manage and respond to email correspondence and telephone inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise with staff members to ensure timely and appropriate responses to incoming inquiries.
  • Coordinate Constant Contact outreach as directed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in office management or a similar role.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Constant Contact (email management tools), Donor Perfect Software, RunSignUp Database, and credit card processing software, SafeSave.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
